积家鼎力支持 巴黎国立网球场现代美术馆（JEU DE PAUME ARTS CENTRE）主办的 《图像超级市场》（THE SUPERMARKET OF IMAGES）特别展览
Jaeger-LeCoultre supports the special exhibition "the supermarket of images" sponsored by jeu de paume Arts Centre in Paris
Since 2006, Jaeger-LeCoultre has maintained a close partnership with the Museum of modern art of the national tennis court in Paris. We look forward to enjoying the special exhibition "image supermarket" which will open on February 11, 2020. This exhibition deeply reflects the essence and connotation of image economy (or "image economics").
As a creative space for image and photographic art, the national tennis court Museum of modern art in Paris has once again fulfilled its promise of breaking through the limits of visual culture research. With the full support of Jaeger-LeCoultre, talented artists face up to the unique phenomenon of super high yield of images in modern society, and think about the consequences of commercialization of all visible things. This is an exhibition that is closely related to the pulse of the times and evokes resonance. It is also a powerful image of our times.
A group of talented artists
Jaeger-LeCoultre works closely with the Museum of modern art of the national tennis court in Paris, actively participates in the cause of art, and promotes the vigorous development of various forms of art creation.
The exhibition "image supermarket" enables visitors to face up to many problems caused by the new "image economy", understand the way of image communication and trading in modern society, the human power (or non-human process) in the process of image creation, and the value fluctuation generated by the global flow. A single perspective can not fully cover this grand theme. Therefore, the Museum of modern art of the national tennis court in Paris attaches great importance to the power of the artist group to show its subtle differences and distinctive features.
Since its establishment, Jaeger-LeCoultre has always adhered to the concept of CO creation, creation and innovation, and made it an inexhaustible driving force for its own progress. The "spirit of place" contained in the tabulation and photography industry has found a real sense of belonging here.
Jaeger-LeCoultre and the Museum of modern art at the national tennis court in Paris were established in 2006. Driven by common values, they still maintain close cooperation today. Since 1833, Jaeger LeCoultre has brought together watchmakers, engineers, designers and craftsmen under the same roof. Sharing and inheritance complement each other, mutual trust makes people feel a unique sense of belonging. At the same time, it has also achieved the unique style of Jaeger-LeCoultre workshop, which makes Jaeger-LeCoultre achieve a clever balance between complicated craft and extraordinary technology. As a venue for numerous exhibitions, conferences, symposiums, seminars and grand performances, the Museum of modern art of the national tennis court in Paris has the characteristics of being open to all. Here, the art of photography is constantly innovating actively, carrying out self innovation with a powerful subversive force, and constantly breaking through the boundaries and looking forward to the future.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre workshop in Ru Valley, Switzerland and the national tennis court Museum of modern art in Paris, France share the same source of inspiration, including the concept of "respect". The image captured by a photo is not limited to a short frame. Similarly, in Jaeger-LeCoultre's view, the existence of a watch is not only to read time, but also to convey the connotation of time in an accurate and profound way, which is the foundation of the long-term cooperation between the Museum of modern art of Paris National Tennis Court and Jaeger-LeCoultre workshop.
